Paint Technology
The course will give participants an understanding on paint technology. It will give them guidance on paint trouble shooting and also aid them in preventing paint problems before they arise. By understanding how paint and the painting environment works, rework can be avoided, however, if paint problems do arise they will have an understanding on how to deal with them.

Who Should Attend: Paint technicians, Bodyshop owners and managers OEM and insurance field staff
Course Objective: To provide an understanding of paint technology and build troubleshooting skills to identify paint faults and in doing so minimise paint rectification.
Course Length: 1 Day
Class Size: 6-8 people

- Safety
- What is paint
- Paint drying technology and how it affects refinishing
- Paint triangle and how it relates to paint troubleshooting
- Film builds in OEM and refinishing
- Paint test methods
- Paint troubleshooting tips
Course Cost: $100+gst - Costs will cover material used and food provided
Note: Students will receive a PPG Certificate of Completion, lunch & refreshments will be provided.
Students will be required to bring safety boots, spray overalls and if possible air-fed masks.
