Dry Sanding
This intense programme will provide training in the complete Bodyshop Process using Dry sanding methods only. This program is tailored for individual needs. It will introduce and demonstrate ways to maximise the efficiency of the high productivity collision centre. They will be able to do high quality repairs and shown how dry sanding can help reduce cycle times and overall throughput.

Who Should Attend: Technicians from shops wanting to maximise efficiencies or technicians participating in the MVP Programme. Bodyshop owners/managers.
Course Objective: To acquaint technicians with the complete Bodyshop Process using Dry sanding methods only, and how it can help increase paint department efficiency.
Course Length: Half - 1 Day

- The bodyshop process
- Introduction to dry sanding equipment
- Dry versus wet sanding
- Dry sanding equipment/choices and correct use
- Mirka abrasive choices and their correct use
- Hands-on sanding sessions
Course Cost: $100+gst - Costs will cover material used and food provided
Note: Lunch and refreshments will be provided. Students will be required to bring safety boots, spray
overalls and if possible air-fed masks.
