Colour Adjustment 1

This course covers the theory of colour and its practical application to refinish material tinting. Specific data on colour mixing bases, colour tools and their use in tinting is described in depth as well as PPG’s Colour Box and Paint Manager systems. It also provides training on various techniques with PPG product systems using single stage, basecoat/clearcoat colours. This course is and maybe used to attain bronze level or higher in the PPG levels programme.

Who Should Attend: Shop technicians, bodyshop owners/managers.

Course Objective: To give participants an understanding of colour theory and the proper methods involved in colour matching.

Note: Students will receive a PPG Colour Adjustment Training Manual, lunch, refreshments each day, and a Certificate of Completion. Students will be required to bring safety boots, spray overalls and if possible air-fed masks.
